Content verification guide

How to check if an NSFW video was made with Seedance

Adult content is increasingly AI-generated. Here is how to verify whether a video actually carries official Seedance artifact signals — without generating anything yourself.

Unsigned, re-posted adult clips are hard to attribute. Some come from Seedance-based generators — including uncensored third-party services built on the official model — while others come from completely different pipelines. This page explains how to verify whether a video was actually produced by the official Seedance model family, using the same artifact verification API this site calls for every check.

Detection only. Seedance Check is a third-party verification tool. It does not generate, host or distribute adult content of any kind, and is not affiliated with ByteDance, Volcengine, BytePlus or any uncensored Seedance service.

1. Why verification matters

Uncensored Seedance services market themselves as running the real Seedance 2.0 model with content restrictions removed. If the model itself is genuine, the output should still carry the technical signals that the official generation pipeline embeds — the same signals the official ModelArk verification API looks for. That gives content reviewers, platform moderators and viewers a concrete, evidence-based answer instead of a pixel-level guess.

2. Run the official artifact check

Upload the video or paste its public direct link in the detector on the homepage. The site creates verification tasks against both official endpoints (Volcengine and BytePlus) in parallel and usually returns within one to two minutes. Three outcomes are possible: official signals detected, no significant signals detected, or unable to determine. How to read each field is covered in the companion note on reading ModelArk verification results.

3. What a positive or negative result means

A detected result means the video carries artifact signals consistent with official Seedance-family output (Seedance 2.0 and later video models, Seedream 5.0 and later image models). A not detected result does not prove a video is human-made: re-encoded, cropped, heavily compressed or older-than-30-days clips can fail verification even when the model really was Seedance. Treat a non-match as inconclusive, not exonerating.

4. Privacy and trust

Pasted-URL copies are deleted after verification, and local uploads are kept behind an expiring signed preview link for at most 24 hours before automatic deletion. You should only upload content you are authorized to process. This site never stores, indexes or distributes the videos it checks.
