What this does and does not mean
The official ModelArk verification API only covers the Seedance family (Seedance 2.0+ video models, Seedream 5.0+ image models) and verifies artifacts generated within roughly the last 30 days. Re-encoded, cropped or heavily compressed videos may fail to verify even if they were made with Seedance. So a detected result is strong evidence, while a not detected result says nothing conclusive about other AI models — see the full guide to identifying Seedance videos.
Check any video yourself
You do not need to trust the aggregate — run the official check on your own video. Upload a file or paste a public link and the system verifies against both official endpoints (Volcengine and BytePlus) in parallel, usually within one to two minutes.
